Bridging the Digital Divide in the Golden State.

We believe internet access is a human right, not a luxury. Since 2023, we have helped over 50,000 Californians stay connected.

Our Mission

Why We Started

The California Digital Access Initiative (CDAI) was born out of a simple observation: government assistance programs exist, but navigating the red tape is often too difficult for the people who need them most.

In 2023, a small group of social workers and tech advocates noticed that thousands of eligible seniors in the Central Valley were missing out on free connectivity simply because the application portals were confusing. We saw a need for Community Support that bridged the gap between policy and people.

Today, we work in alignment with the goals of the California Broadband Council to ensure Digital Equity reaches every corner of the state—from the urban centers of Los Angeles to the rural communities of Humboldt County. We don't just process forms; we ensure families stay connected to school, work, and healthcare.
